The COP30 Climate Change Media Partnership (CCMP) Reporting Fellowship 2025 is now open for journalists from low- and middle-income countries. The fully funded fellowship will support journalists to report from the 30th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP30) in Belém, Brazil, taking place from November 10 to 21, 2025. The program is organized by Internews’ Earth Journalism Network (EJN) and the Stanley Center for Peace and Security.
This year’s fellowship offers two tracks: in-person participation in Brazil and a virtual fellowship for Pacific Island journalists. The fellowship targets professional journalists with a strong background in climate reporting who have never attended a UN Climate COP before.
Selected journalists will receive financial, editorial, and logistical support to attend COP30. They will report stories, interview global leaders, and receive mentorship from seasoned reporters. Virtual fellows will participate remotely with full support and access to livestreamed content.
The CCMP fellowship includes training, mentorship, daily briefings, editorial support, networking opportunities, and a platform to share stories globally. Fellows will produce multiple stories during the event with full support from EJN mentors.
