The CrossCulture Program (CCP) 2025 offers a unique, fully funded opportunity for professionals and volunteers from over 40 countries to gain international experience through intercultural exchange. Organized by the Institute for Foreign Cultural Relations (IFA) and funded by the German Federal Foreign Office, the program invites around 55 participants annually to work with host organizations in Germany or their home countries for two to three months. The fellowship aims to foster collaboration, build long-lasting networks, and strengthen civil society.
Since its launch in 2005, the CCP has supported over 1,100 alumni, promoting understanding and the exchange of knowledge, skills, and ideas across borders. The program focuses on various fields, including human rights, media and culture, policy and society, sustainable development, and climate justice. In 2025, special attention will be given to themes like the culture of remembrance and gender and diversity.
Participants gain valuable hands-on experience, broaden their professional networks, and apply the knowledge gained to their home organizations. By working closely with host organizations, fellows contribute to strengthening civil society and promoting global cooperation.
