Earth Shorts 2025 Fellowship | Get Paid to Create Biodiversity Content on Social Media

The Earth Shorts 2025 Fellowship is now open for applications! Organized by Internews’ Earth Journalism Network (EJN), this paid opportunity supports 20 creators and journalists from South and Southeast Asia. Each selected fellow will receive $2,000 and mentorship to produce short videos about biodiversity for social media.

This program helps storytellers reach more people with engaging, fact-based videos on nature, conservation, and climate issues. Whether you’re a content creator with a strong following or a journalist reporting on environmental topics, this fellowship will help you grow your skills, network with others, and make an impact.

EJN started this initiative with a pilot program in the Philippines. Now, it’s expanding to include more countries, offering a mix of virtual training, hands-on mentorship, and a collaborative learning journey to fight misinformation and create meaningful biodiversity content.

Participants will attend a three-day virtual training in September 2025 and produce at least five short videos by February 2026. The program ends with a virtual showcase event in March 2026.
