FAO Hungarian Government Scholarship 2025–26 | Fully Funded

The FAO–Hungarian Government Scholarship Programme for 2025–26 offers a unique opportunity for international students to pursue a fully funded Master’s degree in Hungary. Supported by the Hungarian Government and FAO, this scholarship is designed to promote academic excellence and capacity building in agriculture-related fields.

The fully funded scholarship program is open to students from eligible countries and includes two specialized Master’s degree programs:

  1. Master in Aquaculture
    • Institution: Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Szent István Campus, Gödöllő
    • Duration: 3 semesters (17 months)
  2. Master in Animal Husbandry Engineering
    • Institution: University of Debrecen, Faculty of Agricultural and Food Sciences and Environmental Management, Debrecen
    • Duration: 4 semesters (22 months)

Eligibility Criteria for Hungarian Government Research Scholarships

Steps to Apply for the FAO Hungarian Government Scholarship

  • Prepare Documents:
    • Application Form: Fully completed.
    • Curriculum Vitae: Updated in English.
    • Degree Certificate: Copy of Bachelor’s diploma and transcript.
    • English Proficiency Certificate: TOEFL/IELTS or equivalent.
    • Recommendation Letter: At least one reference.
