Eligibility Criteria for the Food and Agriculture Organization Internships

  • Applicants must be from an FAO Member State.
  • Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate degree program or be a recent graduate.
  • Must have a working knowledge of at least one of FAO’s official languages. Knowledge of an additional language is a plus.
  • Applicants must be between 21 and 30 years old at the start of the internship.
  • Candidates must have the appropriate visa or residence status in the country of assignment before the start of the internship.
  • Applicants with close family members (parents or siblings) employed by FAO are not eligible to apply.
