Fulbright Scholar Program 2025 in the USA | Fully Funded

The Fulbright Scholar Program 2025, administered by the United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP), offers a prestigious scholarship for Pakistani scholars, professionals, and artists to pursue advanced research, teaching, or post-doctoral studies in the United States. This fully funded program provides up to 12 months of support for lectureship, research, or a combination of both at a U.S. college or university, and also supports one accompanying dependent.

Selected scholars are expected to share insights about Pakistani society and culture with U.S. students and colleagues. Upon returning to Pakistan, they are encouraged to contribute to the country’s development by sharing their experiences and knowledge. The grant covers airfare, an incidental research allowance, a living stipend, and health insurance. USEFP also assists with the visa application process.

The program in the US is highly competitive, selecting approximately 15 scholars each year. Thirteen slots are reserved for early-career faculty and researchers (2-7 years), while two slots are for senior scholars (8-15 years) with a Ph.D. or terminal degree. Applicants must demonstrate excellent English proficiency, a well-formulated research proposal, and a commitment to contributing to Pakistan’s development.

Applications for the 2025 program are due by September 18, 2024. Candidates should prepare a strong application that highlights their academic achievements, leadership potential, and the relevance of their proposed work to their career goals and Pakistan’s needs.
