The Harpswell Leadership Summit 2025 is a transformative, fully funded program designed for aspiring women leaders from ASEAN countries and Nepal. Hosted in the vibrant city of Penang, Malaysia, this program aims to advance positive change in Southeast Asia by fostering a network of empowered women leaders. Over the course of five months, participants will engage in virtual and in-person activities, learning from top industry experts, academics, and community leaders.
The fully funded program combines the best of virtual collaboration and in-person interaction, allowing participants to build meaningful relationships, deepen their understanding of the ASEAN region, and collaborate on regional challenges. Participants also gain access to Social Impact Grants following the Summit.

Program Structure for the Leadership Development Program
May 2025 | Virtual Launch
- Two introductory virtual sessions (1.5 hours each).
- Participants introduce their passions, and professional work, and meet the Harpswell team.
June–August 2025 | Virtual Sessions
- Twice-monthly virtual sessions (3 hours each).
- Sessions include interactive lectures, fireside chats, and group discussions.
- Small group projects addressing regional challenges, with one group meeting monthly.
September 13–21, 2025 | In-Person Summit
- A week-long program at Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang.
- Activities include workshops, site visits, networking events, and group collaboration.
- Build on the foundation formed during virtual programming.
- Fully funded travel, meals, and accommodation.

Eligibility Criteria for the Fully Funded Leadership Program for Women from ASEAN Countries
- Age: Women aged 25–35.
- Open to residents of ASEAN countries and Nepal.
- Strong English language skills are required.
- Through academic achievements or professional accomplishments.
- A strong interest in women’s leadership and regional collaboration.
- Willingness to engage in self-discovery, cultural exchange, and collaborative learning.
