Exclusions of the KatipAta Program to Learn Turkish
- Citizens of Türkiye and blue card holders are not eligible
- Individuals who lost Turkish citizenship cannot apply
- Applicants currently living in Türkiye are not eligible
- Those who have previously benefited from Türkiye Scholarships cannot apply
- Applicants must not use the program as a way to stay in Türkiye permanently
Eligibility Criteria of Turkish Language Program for Public Officials and Academics
- Must not be a citizen of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, or Turkmenistan
- Public officials must have at least 3 years of work experience and preferably a Master’s/PhD degree
- Academicians/researchers must work at a university or research center and preferably hold a Master’s/PhD
- Must be born after 01 January 1985
- Must have basic English proficiency
- Must not be living in Türkiye
- Must not be a previous recipient of a Türkiye Scholarships program
