The MEPI Tomorrow Leaders Program offers exceptional undergraduate and graduate scholarships to students from underserved backgrounds across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. Sponsored by the U.S. Department of State’s Middle East Partnership Initiative (MEPI), this program is designed to cultivate a new generation of leaders who can bring positive change to their communities.
Participants in the fully funded program receive world-class education at top American-style universities, including the American University in Cairo, the American University of Beirut, and the Lebanese American University. These institutions focus on liberal arts education, fostering critical thinking and equipping students with the practical skills needed to address the challenges in the MENA region and beyond.
Beyond academics, the program for international students offers enriching experiences such as internships, civic engagement activities, and leadership workshops. These opportunities allow participants to apply their knowledge in real-world settings, ensuring they are well-prepared to take on leadership roles in their respective fields.
The program also offers a vibrant support network, including mentorship and personal development initiatives. Undergraduate participants have the unique opportunity to study abroad in the United States for a semester, immersing themselves in American culture and broadening their global perspectives.
