The Enterprising Futures Scholarship 2025, presented by the Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) in collaboration with One Young World, is designed to tackle one of the world’s most pressing issues: youth unemployment. By 2030, over 2 billion young people will seek job opportunities, making it crucial to create sustainable solutions. The fully funded scholarship aims to empower young entrepreneurs, especially in fragile and conflict-affected states, where entrepreneurship fosters resilience, job creation, and innovative solutions.
This scholarship supports young leaders engaged in youth employment and entrepreneurship by providing them with a platform at the One Young World Summit 2025 in Munich, Germany. This global forum will bring together 2,000 young leaders from over 190 countries to discuss and present solutions for today’s socioeconomic challenges. Scholars will gain exposure to global networks, mentorship, and opportunities to scale their initiatives.
The Dutch MFA emphasizes bridging the gap between skills and labor market demands, focusing on education, youth employment, and entrepreneurship. The scholarship not only covers participation at the summit but also provides comprehensive support, including travel, accommodation, and visa assistance.
