- Fellows must commit to the full duration of the three-month program (June – August). Remote work or fieldwork is not allowed, and participants must be present in Laxenburg, Austria, for the entire period.
- Participants can choose to work with up to two research programs, including policy and society, sustainable development, climate justice, and peacebuilding.
- Participants are responsible for arranging their own accommodation. IIASA provides recommendations for housing in Vienna or Mödling, near the institute. Public transportation between Vienna and Laxenburg is efficient, with a commute time of 30 to 60 minutes.
